Gas Industry Awards 2006
At the Joint Gas Industry Luncheon at the London Hilton Hotel on 10th May, the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) and the Society of British Gas Industries (SBGI) presented the Gas Industry Awards recognising significant achievement in the liberalised UK gas industry.
A record attendance of over 720 people attended the event and saw Multi-Tech presented with the Gas Industry Customer Service Award by Ian Marchant, CEO of Scottish and Southern Energy.
In making this award it was noted that Multi-Tech are the only company to have won the award in consecutive years since the awards began in the mid-1990’s.
Whilst summing up the award IGEM commented that Multi-Tech’s success has been “By providing a service that is flexible across a diverse range of gas engineering disciplines, this company continually strives to over deliver customer expectations in terms of both timeliness and quality”
The awards recognise significant achievement in the liberalised gas industry and acknowledge achievement and innovation by companies or individuals. This years awards saw an unprecedented number of nominations with 3 times as many nominations as ever received before and over 50 companies covered by the nominations. View Photograpgh
