Multi-Tech Contracts Ltd. is a national multi-discipline design and project management company, operating in key industry sectors such as process, petrochem and utilities. Over recent years the company has focused on offering specialist support to the UK gas industry. With its head office in Warrington, this service has been successfully delivered through its network of regional offices strategically located in Birmingham, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
During 2007/08, as part of the company's controlled growth strategy, the decision was made to offer the industry an operations and maintenance facility, thus supporting and strengthening the company policy of being 'a centre of excellence in gas engineering' The prime focus of this activity was to offer a hands on maintenance service to companies and operators who have maintainable gas assets, such as network operators, power station operators and manufacturing companies.
Currently, the company has 20 highly skilled teams operating from their premises at Warrington and Cardiff. At Warrington, Multi-Tech has expanded its premises to include self contained Operations & Maintenance offices, workshop, stores and training school. In line with the rest of its business Multi-Tech have invested heavily in technology and key to this is NOMAD, a real time management tool capable of managing a remote workforce through the use of PDA/GPS technology. This facility can be accessed directly by clients, and can give information as diverse as site specific technical information to the environmental effects of travelling to site.
The company has an impressive client list, which number amongst others National Grid, Inexus Group and East Surrey Pipelines, Cleveland Potash Limited, Fulcrum, Energy Services, CMU, Morrison's and Intoto.
